IESC Geekcorps volunteer expert Steve Porter was featured on SHAW TV for his assignment with the AIM-IT program in Beirut, Lebanon.
During two separate workshops he delivered interactive hands-on training and simulation labs on Microsoft Visual Studio Team System Training to participants from Lebanese ICT companies.

This morning, Wayan Vota, Director of Geekcorps, spoke at the
IESC Geekcorps’ Lebanese ICT Academy program, called PICTA, is a cooperative effort between the Professional Computer Association of Lebanon (PCA), IESC Geekcorps, IJMA3, Mercy Corps, Audi Bank, Microsoft, Amcham, Intel, and now Cisco. Cisco recently awarded IESC Geekcorps with an in-kind donation of much needed equipment required to establish Internet connectivity for the PICTA Centers.
